Haylee Jansen, LMSW
Licensed Masters Social Worker Massapequa Park and Telehealth Haylee approaches therapy with a mindset that healing begins by developing a strong, trusting, and collaborative relationship. She employs a trauma-informed, strength-based approach in which she emphasizes a mind body connection and recognizes the impact of external systems on an individual’s well being.
Haylee personalizes her approach through the integration of evidence-based techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral skills, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and insight oriented work. She especially enjoys helping teens and young adults explore their identity and discover their goals, passions, and world values, and helping young children navigating separation anxiety, social anxiety, or family/life changes. Haylee received her Master's of Social Work from New York University and her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from University of Delaware. In her free time, Ms. Jansen loves to be outside in nature, read, spend time with friends and family, travel, and kickbox. |
