Hayley Kmack, Psy.D.
Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellow Garden City/Massapequa Park/Telehealth Dr. Kmack earned her Psy.D. and M.S. in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University and her B.A. in Psychology from Siena College. She has a passion for supporting neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults, including those with developmental and cognitive disabilities. Dr. Kmack supports clients presenting with autism spectrum disorder, OCD, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and school-based concerns. Her other areas of focus include women-focused and trauma-informed treatment.
Dr. Kmack utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and incorporates techniques from other evidence-based treatments to help her clients foster insight and develop adaptive strategies. She tailors her approach to highlight the strengths and meet the needs of each individual client. In addition to her work at Wavelengths, Dr. Kmack is a school psychologist, and enjoys helping clients and families navigate the special education system. Dr. Kmack uses the lens of an ecological framework in her practice, prioritizing communication and collaboration across the home, school, and community settings. In her free time, Dr. Kmack enjoys reading, running outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. |
