Wavelengths Psychology, Neurofeedback, and Counseling - Massapequa Park, NY
Part-time Fee-for-Service

Wavelengths Psychology, Neurofeedback, and Counseling is seeking two exceptional part-time (25 hour) therapists for a group private practice setting.  The first opening is for a Licensed Psychologist, Social Worker, or LMHC to provide clinical intervention with children and teens in our Massapequa Park office. This position entails individual and family therapy with opportunities to learn and engage in neurofeedback, training, and community outreach. Candidates who have experience or interest in working with young children and who have weekend/evening ability will be given priority.

Our second opening is for a Licensed Psychologist to provide clinical intervention, assessment, and neurofeedback in our new ADHD office in Garden City. Experience in working with teens and children, CBT skills, and an interest in developing a specialty in ADHD and neurofeedback is essential. We are seeking Sunday availability in addition to other days/times.

Wavelengths Psychology, Neurofeedback, and Counseling is a private group practice in a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere. Insurance billing and weekly group training/ consultations are provided, as is supervision and peer support. Ideal candidates for these positions have a strong interest in working with children and families, have a passion for learning, and are highly invested in the therapeutic process as a means of helping others. They have a deep respect for the people they work with and are committed to maintaining high professional standards. They bring enthusiasm and warmth to the table, are willing to engage with client, family, and community, and openly share experiences and ideas.

Qualifications: License required. Training/experience in working with children, teens, and/or families.
