Kathleen Hurley, Psy.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Hurley earned her Doctorate in Psychology from St. John’s University and her Masters in School Psychology from Adelphi University .  She has a strong interest and background in psycho-educational assessment including the identification of specific learning disorders, attention disorders, ADHD, and executive functioning deficits.  Dr. Hurley has worked in public schools and universities.  She is dedicated to the role of assessment in guiding treatment-specific goals.  She specializes in anxiety, autism, and ADHD in children, teens, and young adults, utilizing evidence-based practices of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Applied Relaxation, Psycho-education, Family Support, and Mindfulness.  In addition to her Doctorate in Psychology and Certification in School Psychology, she has received advanced training at the Albert Ellis Institute in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and advanced training in EMDR (a type of evidence-based therapy for distressing events).  When not engaging in the practice of psychology, Dr. Hurley enjoys attending conferences with her colleagues, reading, yoga, and being mindful in everyday life.  ​

Fee Schedule :  Initial Intake $200
  • $175 for each 45-minutes of  individual or family therapy and consultation sessions.
  • $95 for each 30 minute neurofeedback session
  • $250 for each 60-minutes of psychological assessment related activities, including but not limited to:  test administration, clinical interviewing, scoring, interpreting, report writing and delivery of feedback.

Good Faith Estimates
As of January 1, 2022,all healthcare providers are required to provide estimates for the cost of care for all clients not utilizing health insurance.  The Good Faith Estimate shows the cost of any items and services that are reasonably expected for your healthcare needs and treatment.  This will be provided by the office upon scheduling and/or as requested.  This Good Faith estimate does not include unexpected costs that could arise during treatment.  Learn more here.
