Sahar Younai, Psy.D.
Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellow Dr. Younai graduated from Hofstra University for her doctorate and also holds a Master's degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Neuropsychology from Touro College. She is passionate about successfully applying therapeutic principles to enhance mental health and the quality of life. She has a strong background in research and evidence-based approaches and believes in the strength of both individual and community support. Dr. Younai utilizes a holistic, collaborative approach drawing from the disciplines of cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and positive psychology. She has worked in Schools, Colleges, Rehabilitation Facilities, and Community Mental Health Care Centers to help clients of all ages empower themselves to live their best possible life. Dr. Younai specializes in ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, Health-Related Concerns and Sleep Disturbances. As a Licensed School Psychologist, Dr. Younai is skilled in providing practical and easy to understand psycho-educational assessments to support IEP and 504 accommodations.
