Amanda Snizek, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Massapequa Park and Telehealth Amanda Snizek earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the State University at Albany, and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Siena College. She has experience in schools as well as outpatient settings and utilizes a strengths-based approach that considers both the client and their family system. Ms. Snizek employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness in her work with children, adolescents, and adults. Her interests include working with younger populations presenting with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, psychosocial stressors, history of trauma, or who are in need of assistance with social skills, self-esteem, or coping. Ms. Snizek enjoys thinking outside of the box and is always looking for creative approaches. She is especially interested in creating a strong therapeutic connection to support clients in times of stress. In her spare time, she likes to engage in self care by being outdoors, traveling, and listening to podcasts.
