Amy McGrath, LMSW
Licensed Masters Social Worker Massapequa Park, Garden City, and Telehealth Ms. McGrath earned her Master’s in Social Work at Stony Brook University, and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Tampa. She has experience working with students in K-12 educational settings, as well as in the college environment. Ms. McGrath enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral issues, and LGBTQIA+ related concerns. Through interventive methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness, Ms. McGrath aims to assist clients in strengthening self-confidence, gaining insight into their current situations, and improving their ability to adapt and cope. She prioritizes establishing a rapport with client(s) to create a safe and welcoming environment that allows for positive self-growth. In her free time, Ms. McGrath loves to spend time with friends and family, go to the beach, travel, and cook.
