Jessica Satkunasingham, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Massapequa Park and Telehealth Languages: English and Spanish Jessica Satkunasingham earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and her Bachelor’s Degree in Community and Human Services from SUNY Empire State. She is currently a candidate for her Doctorate in Social Work at Simmons University. She has experience in schools, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Her interests include working with children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, autism, and developmental disabilities. Ms. Satkunasingham uses play-based interventions with children and incorporates parent sessions for support and intervention. With adults and adolescents she utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing to create a strength-based approach that focuses on resiliency and growth. Ms. Satkunasingham is invested in empowering her clients to achieve their goals through self-exploration, boundary formation, and self-care. In her spare time, she enjoys watching a good movie and hanging out with her children, family, and friends.
